PRECAUTIONS

for people with a history of kidney stones, Hemochromatosis, Diabetes, Warfarin use, Gout, Thyroid, Heart disease

Drug Interactions

• Oral contraceptives
• Warfarin
• Allopurinol

CLIENT EDUCATION

• Make sure to stay hydrated after completion of infusion.
• Diabetics: glucose readings over the next 8 hours may be falsely elevated.
• Monitor the IV site: Watch for any redness, swelling, or pain. If you notice any changes, contact your healthcare provider.
