Drug Interactions

• Carbidopa / Levodopa
• Lithium
• Blood thinners
• Barbiturates
• Fosphenytoin (Cerebyx, Sesquient)
• Phenytoin (Dilantin, Phenytek)

CLIENT EDUCATION

• Make sure to stay hydrated after completion of infusion.
• Monitor the IV site: Watch for any redness, swelling, or pain. If you notice any changes, contact your healthcare provider.
